We have a wonderful relationship with Rowlands Farm from where we get our milk, cream and butter. Their dairy is located less than 3 miles from the Bakery and there they look after the cows in the field to the milk in the bottle which they then deliver right to our doorstep
Brow Farm have been farming wheat and other grains near Southport for three generations with the mostly arable offering now being looked after by Martin. Having made the bold leap to regenerative farming his flour is grown and milled right here in Lancashire. The over processing of the vast majority of flour available in the UK means that a great deal of the goodness including the oils and the whole grains are stripped out of the flour to give it a longer shelf life. Martin's flour is as unprocessed and as natural as it can be and his farming techniques mean that the nutrition in the soil is passed to the wheat without the use of pesticides or fertilizers but through a natural symbiosis between the natural biome of the wheat and the soil itself.
